Regulatory Reform Order

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO) is the responsibility of the Responsible Person within an organisation, who is also responsible for all fire safety. Previously, no previous experience, knowledge or interest in the topic of fire safety in the workplace was statutory as the fire brigades came in and did regular checks and issued certificates. This is now not the case and the Responsible Person cannot blame a lack of knowledge on the system.

Means of Escape’s ‘Guide on the Reform Order’  takes the five main disciplines of good fire safety management and helps determine the role signs can play to get the fire safety message across to everyone within the organisation.
