Overview
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that all staff receive fire safety training and that persons are nominated to carry out specific fire safety duties.
This interactive training course provides information in an easy to understand format and uses videos to demonstrate the role of the fire warden/marshal and the use of fire extinguishers.
Who should attend?
Any persons nominated to carry out a specific fire safety role including fire wardens and fire marshals should be provided with training to ensure that they are 'competent' to carry out the role that is asked of them. It is recommended that fire wardens and fire marshals attend regular refresher courses on an annual basis to ensure that the role is understood and that sufficient numbers of people are trained to provide cover for these nominated persons to take account of holidays, sickness or staff turnover.
