Overview

This course provides attendees with information on the role and responsibilities of a Fire Warden / Fire Marshal. Their main role is to check that buildings are clear of people after the fire alarm has sounded. The course will give an understanding of how to conduct your role at work and implement the necessary procedures. The course will highlight the threats posed by fire and suggest the best techniques used to minimise the impact of fire...

... and now we are offering you the chance to have 'Hands on Extinguisher Familiarisation' as part of our Fire Warden Training. Attendees will get the chance to gain first hand experience of a CO2 and Foam Extinguisher, allowing them to understand the different weights and sounds.

Who will benefit?

Fire Warden / Fire Marshal Training is of benefit to any members of staff that attends the course, especially those who are the nominated competent person. These are generally known as Fire Wardens and Fire Marshals.

Programme

The course content covers the following areas:

- The role and duties of a Fire Warden / Fire Marshal

- Special responsibilities of a Fire Warden / Fire Marshal

- The importance of good housekeeping

- Fire safety communication and its effectiveness (fire safety signs)

- The triangle of fire and prevention

- Understanding the different types of fire extinguisher including a video

- Escape Routes - importance of clear means of escape

- Fire Procedures - what to do in the event of a fire

- The importance of good communication

- Assembly Point Duties

Course Fees

Individual Training: £55 + VAT per delegate (including Hands on Extinguisher Familiarisation)

At clients property: £450 + VAT for up to 15 delegates (£30 per person)

Optional Extras (At clients Property) - Extra cost of £100

- Live Fire Training (Extra charges may apply)
